行程特色

Zhuoye Cottage is situated in the hills of Miaoli, Taiwan. As you turn onto a narrow path shaded by dense banana leaves, you will suddenly encounter a gate constructed from bamboo and thatch, adorned with large red lanterns hanging high. This entrance resembles an early Taiwanese home and evokes the imagery of the Peach Blossom Village described by Tao Yuanming suddenly appearing before your eyes.

An exquisite no-menu Chinese feast features unique and creative dishes specially crafted by Chef Zhejuan, the champion of the Central Hakka Cuisine Competition. The cuisine is visually stunning, complemented by the magnificent view of lush green hills and fields outside the window. This pastoral setting harmonizes with the exquisite flavors, allowing you to savor the essence of creativity in every bite.

The Miaoli Old Mountain Line, completed in 1908, is a historic railway bicycle route. As we rode with the wind and chased the sun, we were treated to breathtaking views of the Longteng Broken Bridge ruins from a high vantage point. The entire journey lasted 1.5 hours and showcased one of the most remarkable engineering feats in Taiwan's railway history: the longest girder steel bridge. This experience allows you to immerse yourself in the charm of Miaoli's old mountain railway. Along the way, you can admire the century-old railway, explore the ruins of the Longteng Broken Bridge, and appreciate the beauty of Sanyi's mountain city culture—all while enjoying a low-carbon and environmentally friendly way.
